Back when I was just starting out on my photography journey, I found myself standing by the famous Lone Tree of Llyn Padarn in Eryri National Park, as the sun began to rise on an early September morning.
The photograph is from a technically perfect shot, but that doesn’t matter to me. What I remember most is the quiet magic of that hour — long before the world woke up. Birds were singing, swans and mist drifted gently across the lake, and the soft light of sunrise slowly filling the landscape.
Moments like that remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.
