About Me

I’m a landscape photographer with a real love for the outdoors and the wild places we have here in the UK. Photography gives me a reason to slow down, explore more, and really appreciate the landscapes around me — from local hills and coastlines to mountain adventures further afield.

Most of my photography takes place close to home, especially in the Quantock Hills and Exmoor National Park. These areas offer endless variety, changing light, and moody weather — perfect for landscape photography. When I get the chance to travel, I’m often drawn to Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, where the scale, drama, and conditions always make for a memorable experience behind the camera.

Although I studied photography at college over 25 years ago, I didn’t properly pick up a camera again until September 2020. Like many people during the UK lockdown, I found myself spending evenings on YouTube and came across landscape photographers such as Nigel Danson, James Popsys, and Henry Turner (well worth checking out their channels). Their videos inspired me to get back outdoors with a camera and start documenting my own journeys.

Since then, photography has become a big part of my life. Whether I’m heading out for a short walk in the Quantocks, exploring Exmoor, or hiking in Eryri, I aim to capture honest, natural images that reflect the mood and atmosphere of each location.
